On 11 and 12 July the village of Mugello comes back to life with artists and shows from all over Italy and beyond.
Stradarte in Galliano for a fifth edition to live.
After the success of 2024, poetry, music, painting, theater, juggling will make live and discover the entire historic center. Almost a hundred shows in two days between street artists, cultural associations, theater companies, dance companies, performers, singers and music bands and even poets, painters, sculptors and craftsmen who will alternate in the various locations set up in the heart of the country for two evenings: after the great success of 2024, the recovery after several years of inactivity, returns "Stradarte", Festival delle Arti in Strada, happily arrived at its fifth edition.. In the streets of the historic center of Galliano di Mugello, small but charming town located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, a stone’s throw from Lake Bilancino, along one of the variants of the Via degli Dei. With some remarkable historical peculiarities, it gave origin in the musical field to an important name such as that of Marco da Galliano, or like that of the prior Del Mela, creator of the first vertical piano. In the days of Friday 11 and Saturday 12 July, from late afternoon to night, with the complicity of the pleasantness of the Tuscan summer evenings, will embrace a good part of the historic center, creating a suggestive ring, offering various stages in which visitors, will be able to stop, attracted by the shows proposed. An event with free entry in which, with the money saved by the absence of ticket, visitors can reward "a cappello" artists who perform.. Stradarte is a street festival, in which street artists perform but also in which art goes down the street from its traditional places.
Unlike the many similar events that take place in various countries, it has the peculiarity of promoting and enhancing the territory and local talents. In addition to those of the place will be many artists, from all over Italy, who will perform in the most interesting corners of the historic center. One objective, among others, is to bring people back to live the streets of the country, rediscover the alleys and squares of the village muggle less known, from a different perspective than usual, and liven up the summer gallianese.
The event will also host a lively market that will combine artisans with gastronomic specialties that can be enjoyed at the refreshment points managed by Pro Loco and ANSPI Oratory, with the opportunity to eat together with artists who perform in the streets. Concerts, painting and sculpture exhibitions, shows of all kinds, ancient games, street artists for two days to live intensely.
The event is carried out by the Pro Loco of Galliano, in collaboration with Periscopio Comunicazione, the decisive presence of the Oratorio Anspi di Galliano, and with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Barberino di Mugello and the Unione Montana dei Comuni del Mugello.
And that will also see gastronomic corners, where you can taste the specialties of the Mugello territory, being able to spend the whole evening among the streets and gardens of the country on the shores of Lake Bilancino, and a colorful market.
