In 2022, the Mugello Tourist Area participated in a call for proposals aimed at improving the attractiveness of tourist destinations, specifically enhancing the region's hospitality capabilities from a tourism perspective. These activities fall under the responsibilities and functions outlined in Regional Law No. 86/2016 for territorial areas, under the title "Improvement of informational tools and innovation of tourist products in the Mugello Area."

The goal of the project is to qualify and organize the tourism offer for product development, aligning tools, projects, and initiatives of individual municipalities at the territorial level.

This general objective also responds to the need to bring uniformity and consistency to the area's broad expanse.

Actions and Activities

The project includes the following actions:

• Activities aimed at improving knowledge of the tourism market
• Surveys to enhance the area's attractiveness
• Organization and management of the area's informational tools
• Organization, development, and promotion of tourism products
• Planning and monitoring improvements in attractiveness and hospitality
