The agriturismo Poggio Agli Ulivi was created in 2003 out of the original XIX century farm. It sits on a quiet location on the edge of Appenins on Camoggiano hill near Florence. The Agriturismo has all the contemporary conveniences while keeping its original charm. It presents beautiful views of Mugello valley and Bilancino lake that offers beautiful beaches with swimming and surfing. Poggio Agli Ulivi is ideally placed to visit the many attractions that the area has to offer. Accomodations comprise of three cosy apartaments equipped with all the modern conveniences.The appartaments are sorrounded by fruit-trees, olive-trees, open farm land and woods in a tranquil setting. Facilities include a swimming pool and a tasting room “la cantina” : the ideal place to savour the gastronomic products of Poggio Agli Ulivi farm. (the tasting room is availbale only upon explicit notice). Cycles can be hired for use along the sorroundings paths; the nearby Barberino village is the main shopping area. A sheltered gazebo in the garden is the right place for evening barbecue and relaxing . The Agriturismo Poggio Agli Ulivi has been awarded three spikes by the Tuscan Turism Board.
