On Saturday 16 November 2024, at 10 a.m., the Wind and String Ensembles of the Camerata de' Bardi School of Music will inaugurate the 7th edition of the Ingorgo Letterario, performing in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo, in Piazza Dante.
The title of the musical performance, linked to the theme of the Festival of Books and Authors, is ‘NOTES OF LIGHT’.
Traditional American music and great classical pages by George Friedrich Händel and Ludwig van Beethoven will be performed, from The Light's Mini March to the Händelianconquering hero Judah Maccabeus - liberator of the Jewish people and the Temple of Jerusalem from the Syrian-Palestinian oppressor King Antiochus IV Apiphanes, as well as initiator of the Feast of Chanukah, the Feast of the Purifying Lights of the Menorah - to the BeethovenianHymn to Joy, with the exaltation of the Joy that unites the peoples of the world through Music, as the daughter of Light, Goddess of the Carms and Goddess of the Flowers who, with her rays, leads us along paths of splendour.
