In the cool of the beech forest: mind and body in motion
CONNECTED WITH NATURE
During the hike, the focus will be on walking in the natural environment, on the meaning that this experience can take on for everyone (spirituality, adventure, risk, challenge, etc.) and on the importance of connecting with nature for well-being.
The hike takes place in the cool shade of the beech forest, between the Sambuca Pass and the Colla Pass. We will pass by two waterfalls, the Fosso dei Pianacci waterfall and the Abbraccio waterfall. We will cross the Rovigo plains until we reach the i Diacci refuge, where we will stop for a picnic lunch. The return is along the path that runs alongside the Rovigo River, returning to the starting point along an ancient road travelled in the past by coal miners.
