TEDx BilancinoLake: It’s time to celebrate all the heroes that exist around us.
The first edition of TEDx in Mugello, the largest dissemination conference in the world arrives in Mugello.
In just under twenty days, the first edition of TEDx will be held in Mugello: on April 2nd, TEDx BilancinoLake will be held at the Teatro Giotto in Vicchio (FI).
A group of volunteers has been working for more than two years to organize the Event under TED International License in New York.
Born in February 1984 as a single event and transformed into an annual conference in 1990, TED was initially dedicated to technology and design, consistent with its origin in Silicon Valley; later it extended its reach to the scientific world, cultural and academic, granting under license the possibility of organizing an event under the brand and TED guidelines (TEDx, where x stands for independent events).
The theme of this first edition are the SUPERHEROES, understood in the sense of extraordinarily ordinary people, everyday myths, that will be told on the stage of the Teatro Giotto. Beatrice Cascone, 24, who dreams of Spazio, from Milan, Novella Rosaria, will tell us about how walking cures all kinds of violence. Vincenzo will also take the stage Vetere, who has chosen to make available to everyone what bullying has understood on her skin, Lisa Martignetti, who takes care of "her dead", Vanina Viviani who discovered in beauty her form of freedom and Stefania Camurri, living a paradox with food. And, again, Carlo Ferrario and his laughter as an antidote to the difficulties and the growth in the community and Franco Dipietro who found a way to give new value to food by rethinking the concept of waste.
