The event is open to all cyclists, amateurs and professionals, who have a membership card for 2015. It is part of the three events “Tre giri di pedale in Mugello” (pedalling in Mugello), included in the experimental non-competitive cycle-tourism events. A single route of roughly 57 km, including the experimental trail with time trials. The meeting place is set at 7:00 am in Borgo San Lorenzo opposite the Romanelli Football Stadium. The start, in stages, is at 7:30. The route goes in the direction of Colla Pass. The road climbs continuously but slowly; it moves through the town of Ronta and the first real climb, 9 km, to the pass begins. Next the road dips towards Casaglia and Crespino in the river valley until it reaches Marradi. The second part of the race climbs towards the Carnevale Pass before descending towards the town of Palazzuolo sul Senio. The finish is set at the Sambuca Pass (closed to traffic for the race) where there is a time trial of the 10 km stretch, average gradient of 6%.
