The Old East Door Inn is situated in the heart of the Mugello, at the doors of the medieval village of Vicchio - Giotto's birthplace. The recently restored inn has an elegant restaurant where we can still savour the old Mugello recipes made from typical food which can be coupled with on out of about three hundred different kinds of wine in stock. The wine shop at the interior of the inn is open all evenings and you can taste a glass of wine from the large variety. It is also possible to taste cheese, salami and other typical products from the Mugello and not, all personally selected by the inn owners Simone Draisci, the maitre, and Christian Borchi, the chef.
