A 214 kilometre route with over 3.700 metre height differences: one of the most difficult Alpine stages. Obtaining the license in one day is a real challenge: we suggest, therefore, that you try to obtain it in various stages while staying overnight in the many accommodation present in the territory, which would also allow you to truly enjoy your stay in Mugello. To obtain the license, you must complete the Gran Tour within a maximum of 9 days and register your time using the CARD at the 13 signage points along the route supplied with sensing devices.

The signage are found in Barberino di Mugello (remote sensing "during the race"), Futa Pass (remote sensing "during the race"), Raticosa Pass,  Firenzuola, Valico del Paretaio, Palazzuolo sul Senio, Marradi, Dicomano, Ponte a Vicchio, Borgo San Lorenzo, Vetta Le  Corci (Olmo), San Siero a Sieve, Scarperia.

The route must be run clockwise, but you can start at any point.
