Monumental trees on the ridge of the Mugello: hornbeam, yew, elm mountain, field maple, pear and wild cherry, beech and oak, holly, and, of course, walnut and chestnut.
The Union of Municipalities Montani Mugello has selected specimens of woody plants important for conformation, size and location and the species typical of our forests, in order to enhance them and report them through cleanups, creating paths and fences, construction of road signs and bulletin boards where information is collected on the botanical characteristics of the species and the history of each plant.
